Red Romaine grows upright and erect into elongated heads of lettuce. It’s beautiful dark burgundy leaves are substantial, crunchy and succulent with a flavor more mild than Green Romaine. Great for Caesar salad, Red Romaine may also be cooked, for example braised or grilled.
