Slightly curved, conical pods tapering at the end with bright red skin. The Yellow Jalapeño Pepper averages 2-3″ in length and has a hot spicy bite that increases with maturity. These mature red pods often exhibit corking, or striated cracks across their body, a good indicator of their heat. It’s Scoville rating ranges between 2,000 and 10,000 units.
