Garlic Scapes are the stem from which the seed head grows. They are removed to force the plant to redirect resources to bulb growth and make the bulb grow bigger. Garlic Scapes have a delicate garlic flavor and tender texture. They are delicious roasted on the grill or turned into pesto.
