Honeynut Squash have the traditional bell shape of a butternut squash, only much smaller. A cross between butternut and buttercup squash (similar to kabocha), Honeynuts measure only about 4″ long at the most. They have a thin orange rind mottled with streaks of green and a sweet, nutty flavor and creamy texture that is enhanced with roasting.
