Slightly curved, conical pods tapering at the end with dark, glossy skin. The Green Jalapeño Pepper averages 2-3″ in length and has a hot spicy bite that increases with maturity. Mature pods often exhibit corking, or streaking cracks near their stem end, a good indicator of their heat. It’s Scoville rating ranges between 2,000 and 10,000 units.
